    Cupcake Case Size

    What do all the above cupcake cases have in common? They are all sold as "medium".

    If your baking a batch for the kids you won't give it a second thought, but for weddings, events & catering it becomes more important.

    With base sizes ranging from 4.5cm (1.7in) to 5.5cm (2.1in) & heights ranging from 3.3 (1.2 in) to 4cm (1.5in) you will need to bake & decorate the proposed cupcake and check;

    Yield per recipe

    Will it fit in those cute little guest boxes... with the lid down?

    Take out your tape measure and ask yourself how many cupcakes do I need to fit on my cupcake tower/stand? Do they need to be 2 or 3 deep?

    Finally, if you have decided to go with a pattern & a solid plain (often a good cost cutting measure, without compromising your theme), try to get them from the same manufacturer to save the uneven look you see in some cupcake display towers.
