Inspiration for today's cupcake... I heard the Chris Issak version of 'Yellow Bird' on the radio during the week and for better or worse it's been stuck in my head ever since! 

Thought I'd take this opportunity to mention "double casing" with free standing cupcake cases.

Bake in one case and pop it into another once cooled. Great way to add colour, pink case within a white case, different shades of blue together, a pink and green become flower and petals plus you can cut or shred the outer case. I cut thin strips then curled the strips around a small paintbrush handle, you can also get a petal effect by trimming and cutting wider strips.
