Blue & Brown swirl, Valentines Victorian, Black Victorian
Cupcake liners can match your theme, just be pretty or act as an inspiration like these foil cupcake cases from Reynolds.
We need these in Australia! Sturdy enough to be baked without a cupcake pan, with an attractive matte finish along with the greaseproof qualities of foil, the colours & patterns will stay vibrant even after baking.

Spoke too soon on these cups, in theory they should have been fabulous, in reality "just okay" to "bad". When the cakes were cool the cases came away from the sides a little to a lot.
I wanted low cakes to top to syrup/ganache/fondant... none of the low cakes kept their cases, they totally fell off. With the higher amount of batter filling the cups, the results was better but still with separation at the sides.
the same cake batter baked perfectly in a white standard paper cup & then in the foil cup with the cake coming away at the edges.
Still useable, but the cake will dry out more quickly unless you create a seal with frosting or fondant.
Note the cake baked in the foil also didn't bake as evenly.
I used a butter cake batter, it's possible a brownie/sticky chocolate type batter might have a better result.
